  • Condition: Very Nice Estate Fresh and As Found. Has some normal age and use wear. Everything appears to be original , please view the pics to help assess. When you pump the bellows , some air leaks from the bottom but I believe that this can easily be remedied as it seems to be coming through where the small leather piece is nailed on the very bottom. I am not sure if it leaks anywhere else.

    Description

    I have up for sale a handsome vintage original / antique circa later 19th Century Foot Activated Dental Bellows. I would suppose it could also be used in blacksmithing but am pretty sure that its intended use was dental related either for suction or drilling. Its an interesting and neat looking item , it may sound crazy but I think it would serve well if used as a footstool . Sure would be a conversation piece. No makers marks that I can see and it appears to be all original.
    The leather is still in decent shape. Some air does escape through the bottom when its pumped , I believe that this could be easily enough remedied as the air seems to be coming through the small leather piece on the bottom.
    The total length is roughly 20" long, this included the foot peg section. Its approx 15" tall and approx 11" across the two cast iron front legs. Weighs roughly 15 lbs as you see it.
    In order to package I will most likely have to special order a box as this is an odd size item . This will take approx 2 - 4 business days because of the special order status.
    UPON RECEIVING THE ITEM - ONLY THROW OUT THE BOX AND PACKAGING AFTER YOU HAVE INSPECTED THE ITEM AND ARE HAPPY THAT THERE ARE NO DAMAGES.
    IN THE RARE EVENT YOU RECEIVED THE ITEM AND IT IS DAMAGED  -CONTACT ME ASAP -  KEEP THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING MATERIALS JUST AS THE ITEM ARRIVED AS THEY WOULD BE NEEDED TO HELP PROCESS THE INSURANCE CLAIM.  YOU WOULD BE REQUIRED TO HELP WITH THE INSURANCE CLAIM . SAVE THE BOX AND ALL PACKAGING , YOU WOULD NEED PICS OF THE OUTER BOX AND INNER BOX , AND PICS OF THE DAMAGED ITEM. WITHOUT THESE PICS, YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND IF I CAN NOT PROCESS THE CLAIM - YOUR HELP IS REQUIRED. THIS IS PART OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITY WHEN IT COMES TO DAMAGE. I PACKAGE TO THE VERY BEST OF MY ABILITIES BUT SOMETIMES THINGS HAPPEN THAT ARE OUT OF OUR CONTROL. I hold the right to ship in an alternative method of shipping if I deem it more safe because of the items fragility , issues due to size, etc.
