She's been stored in a plastic bin away from sunlight in a smoke-free, per-free home since the day she was purchased. The box is not perfect, but it is in excellent condition with no holes, rips, or dents. It's exactly the way I received it. The doll is in mint condition as it's never been removed from the box.
